I’m Ok, I’m Just Tired’ is an abstract painting using cracking clay, gels and pumice paste in pink, blue and white tones on a stretched cotton canvas.

Samuel created this painting using colours which reflected his mood, after a week of exhaustion and back pain. He has embraced his dark mood and frustration and transformed it into a joyful, expressive, textured, and unique artwork

Opting for pastel tones and greys over his usual over saturated and vibrant colour palette. and rather than brushing and flicking acrylics over the textured surface to create his usual high energy composition, Samuel decided to layer colours onto the canvas using solid blobs of colour. . The painting is fixed inside a white stained oak floater frame.
