Marta Obojska

Marta is an abstract painter. In her artworks she aims for minimalism. She uses some form of logic, making references to nature, also into human nature, leaving room for ambiguity. 

She believes that only the viewer can complete the artwork by using imagination and through their experiences.

“My first painting guru was Vincent van Gogh. I still like to use his colour pallet and share his passion for Japanese art. I went through the path from trying to follow painting masters to starting to believe in the power of my own imagination. These days I focus on abstract painting, following Van Gogh's question “How difficult is it to be simple”, in my artworks I aim for minimalism”.
